Mexico’s Andrés Briseño is the new Mister International 2026.
Briseño was crowned during the 18th Mister International final held on September 26 at the MCC Hall, The Mall Lifestore Bangkapi in Bangkok, Thailand. He succeeded Kirk Bondad of the Philippines, the Mister International 2025 winner. A total of 52 contestants competed in this year’s edition.

Briseño took the top prize, while Spain’s Ignacio Monclus finished first runner-up. Indonesia, Turkiye, Vietnam and Sri Lanka completed the final six.

Philippines’ John Wayne Alba finishes in Top 10
The Philippines’ John Wayne Alba advanced to the Top 10 but missed the final six, ending the country’s bid for a back-to-back Mister International victory.
Alba, who represented Calamba, Laguna and the Filipino community in Italy at Mister Pilipinas Worldwide 2026, earned the right to represent the Philippines after being crowned Mister Pilipinas International 2026.
He entered the international competition hoping to follow Bondad, who became the second Filipino Mister International winner in 2025 after Neil Perez, who won in 2014.

Mister International 2026 Top 20
The remaining semifinalists were Dylan Mahoney of Australia, Maverick Service of Canada, Mustafa Bayati of Iraq, Yannick Tavernier of the Netherlands, Adnan Aksoy of Northern Cyprus, Jesus Perez of Panama, Jomar Rosa of Puerto Rico, Malwanduthando Khumalo of South Africa, Justin Khoa Phạm of the United States, and Kenneth Bellorín of Venezuela.
Special awards
Several contestants also received special awards during the competition. Nigeria’s Abure Ebosetale collected Best Arrival, Best in Swimwear and Best Social Impact. Sri Lanka’s Ravindu Wijesooriya won Mister Photogenic and People’s Choice, while Turkiye’s Doğukan Navdar received Mister Telegenic and was earlier named King of Andaman
Indonesia’s Gede Aiswarya Kartika won Best National Costume. Justin Khoa Phạm of the United States received Mister Congeniality and Mister Influencer, while Iraq’s Mustafa Bayati earned Mister Digital Media Excellence.
Who is Mister International 2026 Andrés Briseño?
Briseño comes from Mazatlán, Sinaloa, Mexico. He was born in 2004 and is a multidisciplinary athlete with experience in sports including baseball, swimming, tennis, basketball, archery and American football. He is also pursuing a law degree.
Before competing internationally, Briseño represented Sinaloa at Mr. Model Mexico 2026, where he finished second and was subsequently crowned Mister International Mexico 2026.
His victory gives Mexico the Mister International 2026 crown and begins his reign as successor to the Philippines’ Kirk Bondad.
