Marck Marasigan was among my favorites during the Misters of Filipinas 2025 pageant, and I was a little disappointed when he just ended up in the top ten, not getting any title.
But lo and behold, he’s now the new Mister Celebrity International Philippines and he’s set to compete in Kuala Lumpur soon!
He got chosen for the title after Alei Del Rosario (who won the title last year) had an “unexpected injury” and “will be unable to compete in the upcoming Miss & Mister Celebrity International.”
Here’s the statement of Misters of Filipinas (posted on Facebook) regarding the matter:
Due to an unexpected injury, Misters of Filipinas – Mister Celebrity International PH 2024 ALEI DEL ROSARIO will be unable to compete in the upcoming Miss & Mister Celebrity International competition in Malaysia.
In light of this development, the organization is proud to announce that Misters of Filipinas 2025 Ambassador, Marck Marasigan of Lipa City, Batangas, has been appointed as the official Philippine representative. Marasigan will carry the Philippine flag at the prestigious international tilt set to take place in Kuala Lumpur.
The Misters of Filipinas Organization extends its full support to Marck as he takes on this new challenge and wishes Aleinder a swift and full recovery.
It was last year’s winner that Marck replaced, not the 2025 winner (Krishna Yasser Rodriguez) who resigned a day after he was crowned.
