Miss Universe France 2021 Clémence Botino has tested positive for CoViD-19 upon arriving in Israel for the 70th Miss Universe beauty pageant.
She is currently in isolation, as per the statement she issued on her Instagram.
“I’m really tired, so I will take care of myself,” Clémence wrote, adding that she will stay in isolation for ten days, after which she will be tested again.
“I will keep in touch on social media with you all,” she continued.
“Even if it is hard I won’t give up… Every situation [is] supposed to make us stronger.”
Other candidates that have been in close contact with Clémence will also be tested.
There are reports that the French beauty queen will not be able to participate in the competition which will have its coronation night on December 12th.
