Asia Rose Simpson has advanced to the Top 24 of the Beauty With a Purpose challenge at Miss World 2026 in Vietnam.
The Philippine representative is one of the six finalists from Asia and Oceania, together with the delegates from Bangladesh, Malaysia, Nepal, Sri Lanka and host country Vietnam.
Asia is presenting SEED, an initiative that uses sports and dance to promote mental wellness, self-expression and connection among young people.
Beauty With a Purpose is one of the most important parts of Miss World. It gives the candidates the chance to show what they have been doing for their communities beyond the usual pageant activities.
This is also not the first recognition for Asia’s advocacy. She won the Beauty With a Purpose award during Miss World Philippines 2026 before eventually taking home the national crown.
Her latest achievement adds to what has already been a strong Miss World campaign.
Asia earlier secured a place in the Miss World 2026 Top 40 after winning the Asia and Oceania group of the Head-to-Head Challenge.
She also reached the Top Model finals and was among the top performers in the Talent competition.
The four continental Beauty With a Purpose winners will receive spots in the Top 40. The challenge could also provide a route further into the competition, with the final two advancing to the Top 12 and the overall winner to the Top 6.
Asia already has a sure slot in the Top 40 through Head-to-Head, but another win would make her Miss World journey even more impressive.
And honestly, her strength in both Talent and Beauty With a Purpose makes her look more and more like a serious contender for the crown.
The Miss World 2026 grand finale is scheduled for September 5 in Nha Trang, Vietnam. Asia hopes to become the second Filipina to win Miss World after Megan Young’s historic victory in 2013.
