Margarette “Marga” Siat Briton has made pageant history after winning the inaugural Miss Interglobal 2026 crown for the Philippines.
The beauty queen from Tabaco City, Albay, was crowned during the competition’s first coronation night on August 30, 2026, in Bali, Indonesia. As the pageant’s inaugural champion, Briton is not simply the first Filipina to win the title—she is the first woman in the world to wear the Miss Interglobal crown.
Indonesia’s Nabila Fenelia finished as first runner-up.
A commanding performance in Bali
Briton’s victory capped a remarkably consistent campaign. Apart from the main crown, she received four special awards:

The awards reflected the range of Briton’s performance—from audience connection and social advocacy to her presentation in the fashion and cultural segments.
Her success also gave the Philippines another international pageant crown and established the country as Miss Interglobal’s first winning nation.
Bringing the power of Mayon Volcano to the international stage
One of the most memorable images from Briton’s campaign was her national costume inspired by Mayon Volcano, the celebrated landmark of her home province.
Designed by Patrick Isorena, the dramatic ensemble featured a volcanic silhouette, fiery details resembling flowing lava, and a headdress depicting Mayon and the historic Cagsawa ruins. Smoke effects completed the presentation as Briton brought a piece of Bicol to the stage in Bali.
The costume’s combination of spectacle, regional identity and storytelling helped Briton win the National Costume Excellence Award.
From Miss Grand Philippines runner-up to international queen
Before her international triumph, Briton competed at Miss Grand Philippines 2025, where she placed first runner-up to Emma Tiglao of Pampanga. She was subsequently named Miss Interglobal Philippines 2026 and sent to represent the country in the pageant’s debut edition.
Her victory shows that a runner-up finish at a national competition can become the beginning of an even bigger pageant journey. Under ALV Pageant Circle, Briton converted that opportunity into a historic international title.
A crown rooted in advocacy
Briton has used her platform to support women and children. Before traveling to Indonesia, she visited the Women and Children’s Safe Haven in Ligao, Albay, and reaffirmed her commitment to the people behind her advocacy.
That work adds substance to her Social Impact Award. As the inaugural titleholder, Briton now has the opportunity to help define what the Miss Interglobal crown will represent beyond the competition stage.
