Award-winning actress Jaclyn Jose passed away on Saturday at the age of 60.

According to reports, she was found dead at her house in Quezon City on March 2.

Jaclyn Jose, who was known for her “monotone” acting voice, was last seen in Batang Quiapo as police chief Espinas.

She was also the first Southeast Asian and Filipino to win Best Actress at the Cannes Film Festival for her role in Brillante Mendoza’s Ma’Rosa in 2016.

She is survived by daughters, actress Andi Eigenmann and Gwen Guck.
