Philippine bet Karen Eje had a top 11 finish at the inaugural World Miss Tourism Ambassador 2017 pageant held in Pasay City last Saturday. It was not her beauty, however, that has been giving her much attention since the pageant, but her answer during the interview.

“If I were to be a World Miss Tourism Ambassador 2017, I will promote culture and tourism through compassion and helping other people. And I believe that aside from beautiful scenery, it is the people that defines the real tourism,” Karen said.

The thought was there, but she seemed nervous. Those that have reacted to the video shared on the internet said the way she answered reminded them of recitations in school when they didn’t know the answer.
