Loisa Andalio was my bias when she was in Pinoy Big Brother (the show that started it all for her) years ago. I was very happy when she was given acting projects right after the PBB stint, and then there was ASAP where her dancing skills get the spotlight.

In the recent past, however, she hasn’t been getting big acting projects, until I heard that Friendly Fire, directed by Mikhail Red, will premiere at the Hawaii International Film Festival this October.

Loisa plays the role of Kaya in the film, an e-sports player that comes from a poor family. She was given a break to join a team where she was able to prove that she’s an exceptional player.

Also in Friendly Fire (watch trailer at the end of this post) are Coleen Garcia, Yves Flores, Harvey Bautista and Jon Lucas, among others.

And then, here comes Race To 23 where she plays the role of a billiard player! That explains her IG posts where she is seen playing billiards.

Race To 23 is directed by Philip Giordano, a US-based film maker, and also stars John Arcilla. Giordano was also behind Vivamax’s Pabuya which starred Diego Loyzaga and Franki Russell.

So which one of the Loisa upcoming movies are you excited about?
