A magnitude 7.3 earthquake shook Abra on Wednesday morning, July 27, 2022. It was also felt in various areas in Metro Manila.
According to PHIVOLCS, the earthquake occurred at exactly 8:43 a.m. with epicenter at 2 kilometers northeast of Lagangilang in Abra.
The quake was tectonic in origin and had a depth of 25 kilometers.
