Mister Grand Philippines 2021 Michael Ver Comaling may not be in Panama (where the pageant is being held) physically but it doesn’t mean that he can’t compete in Mister Grand International 2021. He was allowed to compete virtually.
The official statement of Mister Grand Philippines was posted on Mister Grand International’s Instagram on Saturday (Manila time). It states that the “global COVID19 pandemic and the visibility of new variant-omicron in some of the most visited countries, and the new protocols and restrictions made by the government of Panama to the incoming travellers” made it impossible for the PhIlippine team to secure visa on time.
Michael Ver, however, will continue to compete virtually against 27 other candidates from around the world.
Mister Grand International 2021 will have its finals early Monday morning (Manila time) and you can catch it live via the pageant’s YouTube channel.
