Miss Granny, the movie starring Sarah Geronimo, made a new record last Sunday, August 26, 2018.
Directed by Joyce Bernal, the movie was released on August 22, making P7.8M that day.
After 2 days, Miss Granny reportedly made P13.8M.
The weekend, however, did wonders to the movie which also stars James Reid and Xian Lim.
Last Sunday alone, the movie made P21M, and it was the highest single-day gross for a local movie released this year.
As of Aug. 26, Miss Granny already has a total gross of P57M and it’s still showing in 230 cinemas nationwide.
