Miss World has announced the four continental winners of its Multimedia Challenge, giving another group of candidates guaranteed places in the Top 40.

The winners were selected from Africa, the Americas and Caribbean, Asia and Oceania, and Europe. They are:

  • Africa: Dr. Adah Mushibi of Zambia
  • Americas and Caribbean: Audrey Ho-Wen-Tsaï of French Guiana
  • Asia and Oceania: Audrey Bianca Callista of Indonesia
  • Europe: Julia Kühnle of Germany

All four winners have secured spots in the Miss World 2026 quarterfinals. They also participated in an additional round that will determine the overall Multimedia Challenge winner.

The overall winner will receive an even bigger advantage: automatic entry into the Top 20.

Another route into the Miss World Top 40

The Multimedia Challenge recognizes the candidates who have used digital platforms effectively to share their Miss World journeys, advocacies and activities with an international audience.

Winning a continental title is particularly important under the Miss World 2026 format. The four winners no longer have to depend solely on the judges’ selections to enter their respective continental Top 10s during the grand finale.

The eventual overall winner will skip the first elimination and advance directly to the Top 20.

This makes the Multimedia Challenge more than a social-media competition. It has become one of the candidates’ clearest routes into the latter stages of Miss World 2026.

Indonesia wins for Asia and Oceania

Indonesia’s Audrey Bianca Callista emerged as the Multimedia Challenge winner for Asia and Oceania, defeating the other candidates in the region, including Philippine representative Asia Rose Simpson.

Although Asia did not win this particular challenge, she is already assured of a place in the Top 40 after winning the Asia and Oceania group of the Head-to-Head Challenge.

The Filipina beauty queen has enjoyed a strong campaign in Vietnam. Aside from her Head-to-Head victory, she placed third in the Talent Challenge and advanced to the latter stages of Top Model and Beauty With a Purpose.

With several notable challenge performances, Asia remains one of the candidates to watch as the competition approaches its conclusion.

Miss World 2026 final

The four Multimedia continental winners now join the growing list of confirmed Miss World 2026 quarterfinalists.

The competition’s remaining fast-track results and judges’ selections will complete a Top 40 divided equally among Africa, the Americas and Caribbean, Asia and Oceania, and Europe.

Miss World 2026 will hold its grand finale on September 5 in Vietnam. Reigning queen Opal Suchata Chuangsri of Thailand will crown her successor at the conclusion of the event.

For the Philippines, Asia Rose Simpson hopes to become the country’s second Miss World winner, following Megan Young’s historic victory in 2013.
