National Costume segments in beauty pageants confuse me, actually. Those countries that have rich cultural heritage can become elaborate and grand in their costumes, but what about the other countries? So I guess the segment shouldn’t be judged solely based on how glamorous or creative a costume is, but also on how the contestant carried it and on how good the contestant look in it.
