MJ Ordillano represents the Philippines at Mister Global 2026
Flying the Philippine flag this year is Myron Jude “MJ” Ordillano, who earned the Mister Pilipinas Global 2026 title during Mister Pilipinas Worldwide last April.
Ordillano represented Parañaque at the national competition and was among the major titleholders crowned at Mister Pilipinas Worldwide 2026.
The 29-year-old is no stranger to international pageantry.
He previously won Mister International Philippines 2022 and went on to finish as fourth runner-up at Mister International 2022. Outside pageantry, Ordillano has worked in digital marketing, modeling and acting.
That international experience makes Mister Global another major stage in his pageant career.
Mister Global 2026 activities begin
The contestants officially entered the competition period on September 29 with the Official Contestant Welcome.
The opening activities also included an Official Welcome to Thailand and Sash Ceremony on September 30, followed by a meet-and-mingle event with the Miss and Mister Global delegates at SEEN Restaurant & Bar Bangkok.
As the competition progresses, the candidates will participate in a series of activities leading to the preliminary competition and finals.
One date pageant fans should mark is October 8, when the National Costumes and Preliminary Competition for Miss & Mister Global 2026 is scheduled at MCC Hall.
The Mister Global final follows on Saturday, October 10.
Philippines hopes for another Mister Global victory
The Philippines already has one Mister Global crown.
Dom Corilla made history when he won Mister Global 2024, becoming the first Filipino to capture the international title.
This year, Ordillano will attempt to bring the crown back to the Philippines.
He is competing against a large international field. Among the countries represented are host nation Thailand as well as Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, England, Korea, Mauritius, Myanmar, Nepal, South Africa, Spain, Togo and several others.
Who will succeed Mister Global 2025?
The reigning Mister Global is Miguel Alejandro Ortega Alaniz of Spain, who won the 2025 competition in Bangkok.
Spain finished ahead of Venezuela, Mexico, the United States and France in last year’s Top 5.
A new winner will be crowned when Mister Global 2026 holds its final competition on October 10.
For Filipino pageant fans, attention will naturally be on MJ Ordillano as he tries to add another international achievement to his résumé and possibly secure the Philippines’ second Mister Global crown.
