The 15th edition of Mister International (2023) took place in Thailand on Sunday, September 17th. Thirty six hot men from around the world competed for the prestigious title, to succeed last year’s winner, Manu Franco of Dominican Republic.
The ceremony started off with the contestants’ introduction, followed by a set of special awards:
Best National Costume – Thailand
Mister Congeniality – Nepal
Most Charisma Men – Lebanon, Venezuela, Mexico, Peru, Thailand
Most Attractive Men – Japan, Switzerland, Taiwan, Philippines, Singapore
Smart Guys – India, Guinea Bissau, Brazil, Cuba, Korea
Ayutthaya Popular Vote – Lebanon
The special awards announcement was followed by the swimwear presentation.
More special awards:
Best in Swimwear – Lebanon
Shining Bright by HYA – France, Japan, Taiwan (winner)
Top 20 (based on preliminary competition and closed door interview):
Thailand (Popular Vote)
After parading in formal wear, the Top 20 was cut in half.
Surprisingly, Mister Lebanon was not able to make the Top 10. I was happy, though, that Philippines made it. He made such an impression with the casual interview.
The Top 3 did another round of question and answer, this time, they had to answer the same question. The question was about the removal of age limitation in Miss Universe. In their opinion, do they think that Mister International pageant should also allow all men to compete without age limitation?
All the Top 3 contestants agreed to the removal of age limitation. All three could also speak English well. Although Mister Brazil ran out of time and his microphone was turned off before he could finish his answer. I believe, however, that he was able to convey his thoughts with what the judges heard.
2nd runner-up – Brazil
1st runner-up – Venezuela
Mister International 2023 – Thailand
