Kevin Montes of Puerto Rico was named Mister Universe 2017 (Men Universe Model) on Friday night, June 16, 2017, in the pageant held in Dominican Republic. Kevin bested 38 other good looking men from around the world.

Kevin was the 10th Mister Universe, succeeding last year’s winner, Marlon Steven Polo of Panama.
Jose Roberto Velasco of Bolivia was named 1st runner-up, Zamir Sierra of Mexico was 2nd runner-up, Manuel Valero of Spain was 3rd runner-up, Andre Miguel Bernal of Cuba was 4th runner-up, and Douglas Castro of Margarita Island was 5th runner-up.

Denver Hernandez of the Philippines was able to make the Top 15, along with representatives from Dominican Republic, Turkey, Argentina, Colombia, Czech Republic, Paraguay, Haiti, and Peru.
