Misters of Filipinas 2019 named television personality Tommy Penaflor as its grand winner on Saturday (September 21) during the pageant’s finals that was held at the Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
It’s the 7th edition of the pageant, and 22 candidates vied for a title and the chance to represent the country internationally. It was Tommy (real name: Tomas), however, who impressed the judges the most.
The Eat Bulaga! “bae” got the title Man of the World Philippines 2019 and will soon compete in Man of the World 2019.
Meanwhile, another crowd favorite, Levin Arguelles of Tarlac City, got the Mister International Philippines 2019 title.
The delegate from the Filipino Community of Italy, Gianluca Lanta, was named Mister Model Worldwide Philippines 2019.
I was personally rooting for Tabaco City’s Joseph Xavier Pili. He was the most confident during the final interview and IMHO gave the best answer. He was just named 1st runner-up, though. He could put that eloquence to good use given a title and the chance to represent the country internationally.
