Ghion Layug was crowned Misters of Filipinas-Laguna 2025 during the pageant’s finals that was held last Wednesday, September 10th. Representing the municipality of Sta. Rosa, he bested nineteen other candidates from all around Laguna for the top title.
As the winner, Ghion will be the representative of Laguna province in the upcoming national pageant, Misters of Filipinas 2025.

MOF Laguna Tourism – Louie Hilbero (Majayjay)
MOF Laguna Charity – John Krsna Valdellon (Paete)
1st runner-up – Karl Simon Tansengco (Los Baños)
2nd runner-up – John Tolentino (San Pedro)
Ghion will not be the sole representative of Laguna, though, because he will be joined by two others from the MOF Laguna 2025 winners list – John Krsna of Paete and Karl Simon of Los Baños.
The three winners (Ghion, Louie and John Krsna) should have been the three representatives from Laguna. Louie couldn’t make it, though. The pageant wrote in a statement posted on social media that Louie couldn’t join the national pageant due to scheduling conflicts and work commitments.
Louie was the second in rank. So had the fate favored him and he won that night, he also wouldn’t be able to join the national pageant?
