While we are all being hit hard by this pandemic, frequent lockdowns in the Philippines have given us more time for things we don’t normally give attention to. Even celebrities, like Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, now have more time to interact with their fans on social media.

Recently, Regine made the day of one of her fans by commenting on a video posted on Twitter. The video shows two young gay men having a sing-off using the songbird’s singing style.

“Yung patalbugan kayo ng friend mo sa pagbirit ng Regime Velasquez flair sa videoke,” Twitter user @VincentMMiranda wrote in the caption.

To his surprise, the singer commented on the video a few hours after it was posted.

“Panalo mga bakla,” Regine wrote, to which @VincentMMiranda replied, saying he cried, which was obviouly with happines.

“Ate omg, naiyak ako,” he wrote.

Well, not everyone gets a comment from their idol. If I were him, I would screenshot the comment and brag about it on social media.

I did the screenshot part for him:
