Otlum is “multo” (ghost) when read backwards, and the movie is basically about a ghost in an old and abandoned orphanage where a group of young people decided to hold an initiation. Those who want to be part of the group should be brave enough to sleep and survive a night in the building that is believed to be haunted.

Prior to this movie, Rivero has been quite famous on the internet, having built a fan base with his good looks and skills in playing basketball.

We’ve also seen him in various TV shows as guest, either promoting UAAP or just being himself.

With his inclusion in the MMFF movie, will he eventually leave basketball and pursue a full time career in showbiz?

Joining Rivero in the cast of Otlum are Jerome Ponce, Buboy Villar, Michelle Vito, Kiray Celis, Vitto Marquez, Danzel Fernandez, YƱigo Delen and John Estrada, with the special participation of Irma Adlawan, Pen Medina, Jairus Aquino, Vivoree Esclito and Ping Medina. The movie is directed by Joven Tan.
