Shawn Khrysler Sulit of Oriental Mindoro has been appointed to represent the Philippines in Mister Tourism Globe 2023. The pageant happens September 25 to 29 in Albay.
Shawn was appointed by Mister Grand Philippines 2023, of which he is a current contestant of.
In a post on social media, the local pageant wrote:
The Mister Tourism Global pageant is slated for September 25-28, while Mister Grand Philippines is set for November 12. As such, it is imperative for us to select the most prepared candidate to vie for the international title.

Shawn Khrysler previously joined Mister International Philippines 2023, where he won the title of Mister Beaute International PH 2023.
And now he is Mister Tourism Globe Philippines 2023.
With regards to his previous title, Mister Grand Philippines said Shawn has relinquished the title before joining again.
In light of this, we would like to clarify that Mr. Shawn Sulit, one of the winners of Mister International Philippines, has approached our organization with a sincere desire to participate in Mister Grand Philippines. We deeply appreciate the respect he has shown towards his previous commitments by properly resigning from Mister Philippines International before joining our competition. We maintain the utmost regard for other pageant organizations and their rights, and thus, we will only consider candidates who have sought proper permission and fulfilled their obligations before pursuing participation in our event.
