Vanessa Mae Walters has been stripped off her title as Miss Eco Teen Philippines 2019. The sad news was revealed by the Miss World Philippines Organization through a statement released on Friday.

According to the statement signed by Arnold Vegafria, national director, the organization’s queens “are expected to be paragons of righteousness, use their platform for good and use their office as an instrument to empower and make a difference in the world.”

It seemed, however, that Walters failed to follow the rules.

“In this light, it is with great displeasure to announce that after observing due process, the Organization deems it proper to strip Ms. Waters of her title and crown as Miss Eco Teen Philippines 2019,” the organization wrote.

Reasons cited includes misrepresentation of credentials, unprofessional behavior, and indecency.

Under indecency, it was stated that there were “nude photos of Ms. Walters circulating online and posted on her own social media accounts.”

What Walters “has committed warrant the removal of her title as Miss Eco Teen Philippines 2019 winner and its corresponding prizes.”

She has been replaced by Mary Daena Zaide Resurreccion.
