Joshua Garcia topbills Ang Mga Kaibigan Ni Mama Susan, directed by Chito S. Roño under Regal Entertainment, Inc and Black Sheep.

The poster that was released earlier today shows Joshua inside a pyramid/triangle symbol. In the background are scary creatures that would remind one of devil worship.

It looks scary enough, especially considering that it’s a Chito Roño film, the same director behind the horror movies Feng Shui and Feng Shui 2, as well as Sukob, Tenement 2 and The Healing, among others.

The movie is based on the book of Bob Ong released in 2010. It follows the story of Galo through his journal entries.

Ang Mga Kaibigan Ni Mama Susan begins showing May 18, 2023 via Prime Video.

Check out this storycon and look test highlight video from three years ago. It seemed like the movie was shelved for quite some time because of the pandemic.

The movie was first announced as an entry to the 2020 Metro Manila Film Festival but was pulled out by Regal Entertainment.
