Mister Vietnam Cao Xuan Tai was crowned Man of the World 2018 on Saturday, July 14th, in San Juan City, Philippines.

Cao Xuan Tai bested around thirty men from around the world to become the new Man of the World, succeeding last year’s winner, Egypt’s Mustafa Elezali.

He was one of the early favorites in the competition as evident in the loud cheers every time his name was called in the previous events prior to the coronation night.

He also won received the Best in Casual Wear special award.

Host candidate Clint KarkliƱs was named 1st runner-up.

Clint also won the People’s Choice, Best in National Costume, and Mister Congeniality awards.

Second runner-up was Mister Malta Bjorn Camilleri, 3rd runner-up was Mister Czech Republic Ondrej Valenta, and 4th runner-up was Mister Thailand Natapol AOn.

The top 10 also included representatives from Indonesia, Myanmar, China, Korea and Peru.

The Top 17 also had Iran, Guam, Mongolia, India, Nigeria, Puerto Rico, and Italy.
