Miss Venezuela Mariem Velazco was named Miss International 2018 on Friday, in the pageant that was held in Japan.
Velazco bested several other beautiful candidates from around the globe, kncluding the Philippines’ Maria Ahtisa Manalo who was named 1st runner-up.
Other candidates who made it to the top 5 were Miss South Africa Reabetswe Sechoaro (2nd runnr-up), Miss Romania Bianca Tirsin (3rd runner-up), and Miss Colombia Anabella Castro Sierra (4th runner-up).
Candidates from Japan, Ecuador and Spain completed the top 8.
Also part of the top 15 were ladies from Mexico, Thailand, Australia, Paraguay, Indonesia, Ukraine and Madagascar.
