Miss Peru Catalina Marsano was crowned Miss International Queen 2024 on Saturday night, August 24th. She was crowned by last year’s winner, Solange Dekker.
The pageant’s finale was held at the Tiffany’s Show Pattaya Theater in Thailand, where the candidate wowed everyone with their beauty.
Catalina Marsano, however, bested them all not just with her beauty, but also with her charm and wit.
During the final question and answer, she mentioned about how her marriage got divorced five years ago because her husband couldn’t accept her transition to a woman, but she followed her desire and what she wanted to become.
Meanwhile, Miss Thailand Saruda Panyakham was named first runner-up, and Miss Vietnam Nguyen Tuong San was second runner-up.
Miss Vietnam also received the Miss National Costume award, Miss Photogenic, as well as the Best Preliminary Performance award which was a fast track to the Top 12.
Miss Thailand, on the other hand, was voted by the candidates to receive the Miss Congeniality award. She was also the best in evening gown.
The Top 6 included candidates from Colombia (Juliana Rivera Gutierrez), Philippines (Sophia Nicole Arkanghel), and USA (Kataluna Enriquez).
Miss USA also received the Best in Talent award, and the Best Social Media Influencer award which automatically included her in the Top 12.
Also joining the Top 12 were Mexico (Romina Amador Muñiz), Puerto Rico (Daniela Victoria), Laos, Venezuela (Shane Zabala), Brazil (Jessy Lira), and Japan (Rin Tsuchya).
