Miss USA 2019 Cheslie Kryst has been identified as the woman who jumped from a New York high-rise on Sunday morning.
Kryst jumped from the 60-storey Orion building at 350 W. 42nd St. She lived on the 9th floor but was reportedly last seen on a 20th-floor terrace.
Her last post on Instagram was just hours before she made the leap to her death. It was a photo of herself with the caption “May this day bring you rest and peace.”
She also reportedly left behind a note saying she’s leaving everything to her mother, but she didn’t say her motive for jumping to her death.
Recently, the former Miss North Carolina was seen as one of the members of the Miss Universe 2021 selection committee along with Marian Rivera.
