Maris Racal stars in Sunshine, a film written and directed by Antoinette Jadaone and is an official entry to this year’s Toronto International Film Festival happening September 5-15, 2024.
Sunshine is a story about a young gymnast’s dream of becoming an Olympian but finds out she is pregnant on the week of the national tryouts.
Aside from Maris, the movie also stars Annika Co, Jennica Garcia, Meryll Soriano, and Xyriel Manabat, together with Angeli Bayani, Rhed Bustamante, and Angie Castrence.
Piolo Pascual and Elijah Canlas have special participation in this project.
Meanwhile, Maris is currently busy doing Incognito, an upcoming action series of ABS-CBN.
Elijah is also part of the series, with Richard Gutierrez, Ian Veneracion, Baron Geisler, Kyla Estrada, Anthony Jennings and Daniel Padilla in the lead.
