The upcoming series It’s Okay to Not Be Okay starring Anne Curtis, Joshua Garcia and Carlo Aquino will soon be aired. It’s the Philippine television adaptation of the hit Korean drama series starred by Seo Yea-ji and Kim Soo-hyun that aired in 2020.
Principal photography of the series, which will reportedly air on Netflix, started last month in Iloilo. I guess that’s why Anne has been missing on It’s Showtime for quite some time already.
Along with Anne, Joshua and Carlo, other members of the cast include Xyriel Manabat, Enchong Dee, Kaori Oinuma, Francis Magundayao, Agot Isidro, Maricel Laxa, Michael de Mesa, Bodjie Pascua, Rio Locsin, Edgar Mortiz, Francis Magundayao, Ana Abad Santos, with the special participation of Albie Casiño.
Quite a heavy casting, don’t you think?
It’s actually nice to know that Francis has a new project. I started being a fan when he played the young Piolo Pascual in Dahil Sa Pag-ibig back in 2012. Also excited to see Xyriel in this series, after her stint in the still ongoing High Street and its prequel, Senior High.
It’s Okay To Not Be Okay is directed by Mae Cruz-Alviar and will stream on Netflix in 2025.
