The ABS-CBN noontime show It’s Showtime will be airing on GTV Channel 11 starting July 1st, as revealed by ABS-CBN and GMA on their respective social media pages on Tuesday. “Madlang people, G na G na ba kayo?” the post says, with G referencing GTV, which is owned and operated by a subsidiary of GMA Network, Inc.

The noontime show, though, still remains with A2Z, but will not be viewed on TV5 anymore. GTV and A2Z will have a simultaneous broadcast of the Vice Ganda-lead variety show from Monday to Saturday at 12 noon.

According to a press release, ABS-CBN declined the offer of TV5 to move It’s Showtime to a 4:30 pm timeslot.

Other hosts of It’s Showtime include Vhong Navarro, Jhong Hilario, Karylle, Amy Perez, Ogie Alcasid, Jugs Jugueta, Teddy Corpus, and Kim Chiu.

In the noontime slot, TV5 will have a Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto and Joey de Leon-lead new show in place of It’s Showtime. The new show came after Tito, Vic and Joey’s resignation from TAPE, Inc. which produces Eat Bulaga!, the show hosted by the trio since it started in 1979.

Since the three ace comedians (as well as most of the show’s hosts) left, Eat Bulaga! has been hosted by Paolo Contis, Isko Moreno, siblings Mavy and Cassy Legaspi, Kokoy de Santos, Betong Sumaya and Buboy Villar, among others.
