Miss Philippines Kathleen Paton was crowned Miss Eco International 2022 during the ceremonies that was held on Thursday (Friday morning in Manila) at the Triumph Luxury Hotel in Egypt.
This is the second Miss Eco International crown for the Philippines after Cynthia Thomalla’s win in 2018.
Kathleen beat Miss Belgium who was named 1st runner-up. Second runner-up was USA, while Spain and Malaysia were 3rd and 4th runners-up, respectively.
Delegates from Mexico, Egypt, Costa Rica, Nigeria and Netherlands were also part of the top 10.
Other winners include Egypt (Best in National Costume), Kenya (Miss Eco Africa), Paraguay (Miss Eco Latin), Canada (Miss Eco America), Portugal (Miss Eco Europe), and Vietnam (Miss Eco Asia).
