Ruru Madrid recently had a haircut, opting for a cleaner look, in preparation for a role in the upcoming movie, Green Bones, which he will star in opposite Dennis Trillo.
Directed by Zig Dulay, the movie is produced by GMA Pictures and will be distributed in partnership with Columbia Pictures Philippines.
Aside from Ruru and Dennis, the movie also has Sofia Pablo in the cast, as well as Kylie Padilla, Royce Cabrera (who was a stunner during the recent Bench Fashion Week), Ronnie Lazaro and Kokoy de Santos, among others.
Green Bones is about a notorious criminal who was imprisoned for murdering his own sister and niece, but will soon be released due to good behavior inside the facility.
A newly-assigned corrections officer, however, takes a keen interest in the case of the criminal and wants to make sure that he remains imprisoned.
The officer’s older sister was also robbed and killed, which explains his personal interest in the case.
He also believes that there’s only one person in his life who was noble and that’s his sister, whose green bones he always carries in his pendant.
A green bone, which is seen after cremation, is believed that the person whom that belongs to was really noble when he was alive.
A green bone is also said to bring good luck.
