Mystica and Rhed Bustamante made their Ang Probinsyano debut on Monday, September 17, 2018. Both actors were given a second chance in showbiz by the show’s lead star, Coco Martin, after their respective stories away from the limelight recently made headlines.
Mystica was seen playing the role of Rosa, a mother who seems to have no love for her children. It was also revealed through the Monday episode that she is involved in the illegal drug trade.
One of Rosa’s children is Ana, played by Rhed Bustamante.
Rhed, who was nominated for the best supporting actress award for her role in Seklusyon during the 2016 Metro Manila Film Festival, was recently featured in Rated K. The 11-year-old actress and her family were said to be struggling financially, and she has been helping her mother sell coffee and bread along a railroad in Sampaloc, Manila to make ends meet.
It’s nice to know that Coco, who has helped several struggling actors to become part of Ang Probinsyano in the past, reached out to both Mystica and Rhed to have a second shot in showbiz.
His good heart is surely one of the reasons why he is being showered more blessings.
