Cancellation of Classes – Monday (July 9, 2018)

Typhoon Maria is expected to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Monday, July 9, 2018.

The typhoon will be named Gardo when it enters the country.

While it will reportedly not make a landfall in the Philippines, it will definitely enhance the southwest monsoon.

As early as Sunday night, Local Government Units (LGUs) have started to declare suspension of classes due to the possible heavy rainfall and flood that will be brought by the typhoon.
